You can register to be a mentor or mentee once you receive our recruitment email in August! You will receive confirmation of your registration once you have been matched. If you are having issues with your registration, email us at t[email protected].

Are the executive officer positions paid?
No, all positions on the executive team are unpaid (volunteer).
I am interested in being a mentor with the MAPS Committee, what is expected of me?
As a mentor, you are responsible for scheduling your mentor meetings with your group throughout the academic year (September-April). Based on your availability, you can gauge how many hours per week you would like to be involved. You are also expected to attend CUPA collaboration events as needed (i.e., Lab Fair, Networking Event, Winter Getaway), attend and/or speak at minimum one MAPS workshops, attend the Mentor-Mentee events, and answer questions pertinent to studies in psychology in our Forum. I am interested in being a mentee with the MAPS Committee, what is expected of me?
As a mentee, you are responsible for attending your mentor and peer meetings with your group throughout the academic year (September-April). Your group can schedule peer meetings on an “as needed” basis, which you can help decide. Based on your availability, you can gauge how many hours per week you would like to be involved. You are also encouraged to attend the MAPS workshops, the Mentor-Mentee events, and ask questions pertinent to studies in psychology. See our Group Mentorship Model page for more information.
